I'm not loyal to any tool. I get maximum value out of whatever works best right now, learn it early, and put it into production.
I've followed that pattern for years. In 2009, I used spaced-repetition software and OCR to teach myself Japanese and Chinese to professional fluency, before language apps were mainstream. Later, SQL and data pipelines helped me cut a 60–80 person-hour compliance reporting cycle to under 5 hours. Browser automation saved $50k+ in vendor time and processed tens of thousands of cases. Across 11+ years at Google and Roblox, and before that as a self-taught linguist, I have kept doing the same thing: learn the right tool quickly and turn it into a reliable system.
Right now, that tool is agentic AI. My current work gets the most out of Claude Code by wiring coding agents into real workflows where they can do useful work reliably.
